Created in memory of Erik Hite, a member of the Tucson Police Department. The Erik Hite Foundation was incorporated in 2009 as a 501c3 to provide support and outreach to Southern Arizona public safety employees, active military, and their families.

Remembering the life and sacrifice of Officer Erik D. Hite by following Godly principles and values such as integrity and empathy, we aim to assist public safety and active military families in obtaining long term generational wellness.
Mission
Our mission is to create a supporting network by providing education, wellness, and outreach programs for families of public safety and active military. We strive to alleviate the unique challenges they face, ensuring they thrive both at work and at home.
Foundation Objectives
- Support and strengthen the needs, wellness, preparedness, and morale of Public Safety employees and Active Military and their families
- Provide quality, reduced cost, affordable, and safe childcare and preschool services to Public Safety and Active military families
- Implement and offer a wide range of family programs in a safe and positive environment
- Increase community awareness of the value and services provided to us and our community through the giving hands of Public Safety and Active Military
