What is the EHF Summer Camp Scholarship?

The EHF Summer Scholarship program offers Southern Arizona Public Safety and Active Military families the opportunity for their children to attend supervised programs, educational enrichment classes, and sports camps in Pima County during summer breaks.

Available to kids ages 5 and up (5-18 years old), the EHF scholarships help offset the traditional expensive costs associated with summer vacation programs outside of school.

Our goal is to help offset the cost of expensive summer camps and to help keep these children active during summer vacation so their parents can concentrate on their critical profession.

Dear Ms. Hite and the Erik Hite Foundation,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go to summer camp in New Mexico. I appreciate your kindness. At camp, I zip lined, repelled, played on a waterslide, and participated in a mini rodeo. We even had the opportunity to sleep outside in hammocks. I grew closer to God and my leaders. My mom was a leader and I was able to spend time with her too. I was given a lot of opportunities to explore new things and activities. I am very thankful for your generosity and support of first responder families.

Summer 2025 Camp Scholarship

The 2025 Summer Camp scholarship application is now closed.

Our 2025 Summer Camp Scholarship Program funded 17 Families, 25 Children, and 14 Departments with a total of $12,500 being put into the Southern Arizona Community.

We are thankful to PICOR Foundation, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, and Hearts of Gold for their donations to this amazing program!
