The Erik Hite Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to provide a child care center and family outreach programs for the children of Law Enforcement and Emergency Services personnel. The program serves both commissioned and non-commissioned personnel from agencies such as the Tucson Police Department, Pima County Sheriff's Department, DPS, US Border Patrol, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Fire Department, and Active Duty Military personnel. We want to serve and care for their families following godly principles close to the heart of Erik, as these men and women serve and protect our community.

Community Care Drive for Officer Rosario's Children

On August 1, 2015, TPD Officer Isaac Rosario was taken from his family and friends in a tragic car accident. He leaves behind two beautiful children. A daughter Alex (6), and a son Christian (10).

We can't bring Officer Rosario back but we can show our love for him through his kids. The Erik Hite Foundation has decided to sponsor a Community Care Drive for Officer Rosario’s children.

During this drive you can either mail items (cards, gifts, etc.) to our address, or drop them off at TPD Substation Rincon. We will deliver all items to the children on a specified date that will be announced on our Facebook Page and Website.
